Weeds is an American dark comedy drama television series created by Jenji Kohan for Showtime. The second season of Weeds premiered on August 14, 2006, and consisted of 12 episodes.The second season, while still comedic, has a much darker tone, as Nancy becomes increasingly involved in the more dangerous aspects of underworld.
